POLO DA DON CONFIRMS CHRIS AND RIHANNA DUET

A spokesperson for producer Polow Da Don has confirmed that Chris Brown and Rihanna have recorded a duet. According to CNN, the unnamed song was tracked with Don just days after Brown, 19, was charged with two felonies over his alleged February 8 altercation with girlfriend Rihanna, 21.

Don's publicist said the singers — who reportedly reunited at a home owned by Diddy in Miami two weeks ago — completed the song earlier this week, though no other details were available on the track. A spokesperson for Don did not return requests for comment on the song, and spokespeople for Brown and Rihanna have declined to comment about the sessions.

"My heart goes out to both Chris and Rihanna for what has happened in the past," Polow said in a statement. "They are both great artists to work with, and I wish them well."

Brown was charged with assault and making criminal threats on March 5 and is due back in court on April 6 for his arraignment in the case.

On Wednesday, Us Magazine reported additional details on the song, quoting an unnamed source describing it as having a theme "about being stronger and growing stronger in a relationship. ... The song was originally created for Rihanna before the fight. However, it wasn't initially slated for Chris to be on the song."

The source added: "The funny thing is, the song expresses the emotions that both Chris and Rihanna are feeling at this moment — facing challenges and overcoming the ups and downs of a relationship in which you become stronger." The singers were described as being "very playful" in the studio during the session.

A month before the alleged incident, the couple, who have been very private about their year long relationship, had actually already worked on their first original track together. The song, "Bad Girl," which leaked in January, was recorded for the soundtrack to "Confessions of a Shopaholic" and was produced by Polow but ultimately didn't make the final cut for the album.

"I came from a Jerry Bruckheimer meeting after seeing the movie, and they were telling us all the music they needed for all the scenes and the characters," Polow told MTV about his sit-down with the movie's producer. "So that night, I went to the studio and I was telling Chris about [the meeting]. And he was like, 'Let's get on it.' It was crazy, because Jerry Bruckheimer's dream was to have a song from Rihanna (for the movie), and I delivered Rihanna and Chris Brown in 24 hours. So they were like, 'Wow, that's crazy.' "

In the song, Rihanna talks about her shopping addiction, her penchant for bags and shoes and her not-so-thrifty purchasing habits. "Need no bargain, need no sale/ I want the best, I dress me well," she sings. Brown chimes in with a rap about his better half toward the end of the track. "She's a walking store, I'm talking about her clothes/ I just pause, I'm in awe, 'cause she's a fashion show."

At the time, Polow praised Brown's energy and work ethic, as well as Rihanna's unique voice and easygoing attitude and said, "We actually did a lot more records that hopefully will be coming soon."

Do you have any thoughts on Remy Ma now that she is in jail?
No, I don’t even think we need to bring her into this conversation. I wish her the best. When I was locked up she kicked me when I was down, but I won’t do that to her. You know what I mean? Because I’ve been there and I know how it feels to be locked up. To be honest with you, my condolences and my heart goes out to her, but at the end of the day she’s not my friend. I’m just making a point I won’t do what somebody else did to me. When I was locked up she kicked me, but I wouldn’t kick her. I don’t do that because I’m a real person. I won’t do that.

Let me ask you this Kim, this is a big question that we get from everybody and you can decide if you don’t want to answer it or not. There is a perception in the African-American community that Lil’ Kim didn’t like the way she looked as a Black woman so she got plastic surgery to make herself look less Black. V103’s Ryan Cameron played mediator to Ciara and Keri Hilson yesterday as he managed to get both girls on the radio for an interview. During Ciara’s interview, Keri called in to let Ciara know that she wasn’t taking shots at her on the “Turning Me Off” Diss record. (She also stated in a youtube video that was later deleted that it wasn’t directed towards Beyonce) However, when Ryan Cameron asked “Who were you referring to” she wouldn’t give a clear answer. I read on another site that Keri Hilson called into Atlanta’s The Beat and claimed that Polow leaked the record but she wanted to distance herself from it because that record wasn’t supposed to get out. Maybe I read too much into the V103 interview but Ciara sounded a bit salty like she had no idea what to believe. I think she was even giving Polow the *side eye* She knows how the industry is. Kanye West's highly anticipated "Air Yeezy" Nike sneakers debut will hit retail stores this spring offering fans three different color schemes.

The forthcoming collection have been in the works since last year.

Air Yeezy was developed from a strong relationship between West and Nike. Partnering with Nike Creative Director, Mark Smith, Kanye was taken through the product creation process, the same way athletes have with Nike Design for the past 37 years. This creative partnership of Smith and West's talents as designers yielded a unique Nike Sportswear sneaker. "Kanye could wear and perform in these shoes and really identify how we could make the shoes perform better," Smith said in a statement. (Press Release)
Ye has expressed his excitement about working with the iconic sports brand.

CHRIS CHARGED WITH 2 FELONIES!!! ....UPDATE* NO PLEA YET

Chris Brown and his attorney Mark Geragos did not enter a plea to the two felony charges. The judge granted Brown's request for a continuance to April 6th.


It is unclear why they wanted to postpone the case -- possibly to conduct further investigations or possibly to strike a plea deal. We just don't know...

Based on our information, it seems Brown wants to avoid a trial at all costs because the picture of Rihanna taken one day after the incident -- which has not been seen anywhere publicly -- is unbelievable.

Brown, who stood emotionless in court, spoke only four words to the judge -- "yes," "yes," and "yes ma'am."

The judge admonished Brown in open court, saying "You are not to annoy, harass, molest, threaten or use force or violence against anyone."

The judge asked Rihanna's attorney Donald Etra if there was a "no-contact order" in place, to which Etra replied, "Miss Fenty [Rihanna] does not request such an order."Etra is famous for repping Snoop Dogg in multiple court cases throughout the years.


FOX 11 in L.A. obtained LAPD detectives notes from a search warrant in the case. According to the notes, Rihanna read a three-page text message on Brown’s phone from a woman. An argument ensued and Brown allegedly tried forcing Rihanna out of the car but couldn’t because she was wearing her seat belt. Brown then allegedly shoved Rihanna’s head against the passenger window. When Rihanna turned to face him, Brown punched her, then continued punching her while driving, according to the detective’s notes. Blood spattered all over Rihanna’s clothing and in the interior of the car. Her mouth was filled with blood. Brown allegedly told Rihanna, “I’m going to beat the **** out of you when we get home. You wait and see.”

Rihanna called her assistant and left a message saying, “I am on my way home. Make sure the cops are there when I get there.”Brown then replied, “You just did the stupidest thing ever. I’m going to kill you.”
According to the report, Brown continued to punch Rihanna, bit her on her ear, her fingers and put her in a headlock — she almost lost consciousness.

R KELLY BEING SUED AGAIN....!!

That pesky child porno case is rearing its ugly head again for R. Kelly.

Kelly is being sued by a private investigator who claims the singer stiffed him on a $300,000 bill. According to a lawsuit filed last week in Missouri federal court, Charles Freeman claims he was hired during Kelly's trial to "obtain and/or recover certain tapes that were said to incriminate" R. Kelly.

Freeman said he did the job, but never got paid. He's suing for damages plus interests and costs.

Kelly was found not guilty on all counts.
